My name is Alexis, but you can call me Lexi! As the proud owner of Tailored Tails, my vision stems from a deep passion for quality and transparency in pet grooming. Unlike many salons that use terms like "luxury" or "coat-specific products" as marketing gimmicks, I believe in practices that actually back these principles. My vision for our salon is to redefine these terms, and challenge the community to raise the bar on what we accept as quality care for our pets! That's why I've assembled a team comprising only the finest stylists who prioritize ongoing education and demand nothing short of excellence. At Tailored Tails, our methods transcend aesthetics and fragrances – they embody a steadfast commitment to enduring well-being and unwavering compassion.

My journey into grooming was fueled by a desire to reciprocate the unconditional love that pets give us, a lesson instilled by my two golden retrievers at home. I thoroughly enjoy engaging with the dogs during their grooming sessions, offering comforting words and plenty of affectionate hugs & kissies along the way… even if it means my grooms take a bit longer! In addition to being an experienced stylist and pet aesthetician, I am also a leading creative colorist; specializing in color work and creative transformations.
